when you want a steal of a deal

This past weekend, I was thrilled and privileged to attend Whatever Craft Weekend {more photos to come on a different post}.

Even more exciting was that I was able to meet my on-line/texting friend, Ashley {from Under the Sycamore}, in real life.  If you're familiar with her via her blog or Instagram, let me just tell you...in real life, she's all that you think she is...and more.  Kindness, gentleness, and sweetness...mixed with a scoop of humor and a pinch of sarcasm.

She watched me wield some of my negotiating magic, working out a few deals, and asked to post a few of my bargaining tips over on her blog today.

Hop over there and check them out.

While you're at it, stay and visit with her for a while.  Her words will soothe and inspire you.  And her photos?  Well, it's safe to say you'll just want to jump through your computer screen and live with her.

  1. We love bargaining too! I am currently doing a Garage Sale Challenge on my blog, it would be super fun to see what you could do with your bargaining power and the impact you could have with the money you save! Check it out.

  2. Loved all your tips on Ashley's blog, Erin! I'm completely and utterly green with envy over the fact that you went to Whatever Craft Weekend. :-) I added that to my Amazon wish list last year as a hint for my husband....maybe when we get back to the mainland. I look forward to hearing all about it and seeing your fabulous pictures.

  5. You are a very talented blogger. You should post more often. Alas, so many of the best bloggers have given it up to Instagram lately. Don't get me wrong, IG is cool, but it is just not the same.
